These Iowa Great Lakes accommodations include fireplaces, expansive verandas or patios, luxurious Comphy linens, and Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. We also offer several whirlpool suites. All rooms in our romantic West Okoboji lodging have private bathrooms, large flat-screen TVs, and refrigerators. A coffee station on each floor is stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and hot cider – available 24 hours a day. Complimentary business-class Internet assists corporate travelers with keeping connected while on the road.

King Suite

1 King-size bed in bedroom with French doors to private veranda, fireplace and large flat-screen television with cable. Living room includes casual seating, dining table and chairs, window seat, large flat-screen television with cable, and a refrigerator. A full bathroom is connected to both the living room and bedroom.

Policies

Check-in is between 4-7 p.m. Please make advance arrangements for early or late check-in.

Check-out is by 11 a.m., unless your package states otherwise.

Rates

Prices are based on double occupancy. Prices listed do not include tax or fees, unless otherwise listed. Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. Call for long-term rates.

Children

The Oakwood Inn is an adults-only bed & breakfast. Children are allowed with full-house buyouts.

Pets

Pets are welcome, with some restrictions. Please contact The Oakwood Inn prior to arrival if you will be travelling with your pet. There is a $40 charge per night per pet.

Deposits

A deposit equivalent to one night’s stay is required for all reservations.

Cancellation

Due to The Oakwood Inn’s intimate size, any cancellations affect us significantly. Consequently, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Your deposit will be refunded if we receive notification more than 14 days prior to your arrival. If for any reason you cancel your stay within 14 days, your deposit will not be refunded. Cancelling less than 48 hours in advance, early departures, and no-shows will be responsible for fees equaling the entire stay. A 90-day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some special events.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver’s license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.

Smoking

Absolutely no smoking of any type is allowed in the building. There are outdoor urns available for smoking outside.
